ALEXANDER DAO, DDS

Dr. Alexander Dao is a dedicated orthodontist who comes from a proud family tradition of general dentists and dental specialists. His connection to the field runs deep: his father is a general dentist, his wife and younger brother are fellow orthodontists, his older brother is a pediatric dentist, and his in-laws are also general dentists. Dr. Dao combines clinical excellence with a deep understanding of the patient experience to create beautiful, healthy smiles. His journey into orthodontics is built on a highly diverse and robust academic foundation. Dr. Dao earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Temple University – Kornberg School of Dentistry. He went on to further deepen his scientific and clinical expertise by earning a Master of Science (MS) in Oral Biology along with his specialized degree in Orthodontics at UNLV Orthodontics. Prior to his dental and orthodontic training, he completed his undergraduate studies at Rutgers University – New Brunswick, where he double majored in Biology and Economics with a minor in Psychology. This unique blend of disciplines allows him to approach orthodontics not just from a scientific perspective, but with a keen understanding of the profound impact of a beautiful smile on self esteem and the operational excellence required to deliver a great patient experience. When he is not busy transforming smiles at the office, Dr. Dao embraces an active, dynamic lifestyle. In his spare time, he enjoys running, hiking, traveling, and spending time in the great outdoors.
